The spa comes to you, in Almancil

Between Almancil and the sea lie some of the quietest corners of the Algarve. Quinta do Lago and Vale do Lobo combine pine woods, golf courses and beaches such as Ancão and Garrão, with the Ria Formosa lagoon alongside. Many villas in Quinta do Lago, Vale do Lobo and Vale do Garrão sit inside estates with a gatehouse or security barrier at the entrance. When you book, include the estate name, the house name or number and whether security needs to be told. In larger houses, let us know which door the therapist should use. After that, all we need is a living room, bedroom or quiet room with clear space around the table.

Golf is part of the day here, across the Quinta do Lago, San Lorenzo and Vale do Lobo courses. A round leaves the back, shoulders and hips tired, and sports massage can help ease that effort. Many clients book late afternoon after their game, or in the morning after a walk along the lagoon trails. We book every day from 7am to 10pm, with every session finishing by 10pm.

A short drive inland, Loulé moves at a different pace: the municipal market with its Moorish-style domes, the castle and the streets of a working market town. We also visit homes and apartments in and around Loulé; the centre has narrow streets, so tell us where the therapist can park. For families or groups in one house, we can book several sessions back to back, or two therapists at the same time.
