The spa comes to you, in Chiado

Chiado and Príncipe Real are the part of central Lisbon many people choose to live in. Renovated flats above bookshops and cafés, architecture and design studios, people working from home for clients in other time zones, visitors staying a few weeks in a rental near Largo do Carmo. Most buildings in Chiado are Pombaline, rebuilt after the 1755 earthquake, with narrow wooden or stone staircases and often no lift. Our therapists are used to carrying the table and everything else up the stairs. When you book, tell us your floor and whether there is a lift. The flats have high ceilings and wooden floors, and even in a small living room moving one table usually frees about two metres by two.

Parking in the centre is hard, and Bairro Alto and several surrounding streets have restricted car access. Our therapists allow for this so they arrive on time, and Baixa-Chiado metro station is close by. In the evening, Bairro Alto and Rua da Misericórdia can be loud. If that is the case, choose a room at the back of the flat and ask for ambient music or silence, whichever you prefer.

In Príncipe Real, the garden with its great cedar tree, Rua Dom Pedro V and the Botanical Garden give the neighbourhood a slower pace. Mornings from 7am are quiet and a good way to start the day. Early evening suits anyone leaving a late meeting or a studio. If your hours are irregular, you can book on the day with 4 hours' notice.
