Parque das Nações began with Expo 98 and grew into a neighbourhood built for living by the Tagus. In your booking, add the plot number or building name, your floor and whether there is a visitor space in the garage. Spacious living rooms and balconies over the river leave plenty of room for the table. About two metres by two of clear floor is all you need, and your therapist brings everything else.

People here like to move. Runs and bike rides along the river, from Parque do Tejo down to the Garcia de Orta Gardens, with the Vasco da Gama Bridge in the distance. After a long session, a sports massage can help ease tired legs. If you spend the day at a desk in an office near Oriente station, deep tissue uses firmer pressure on the neck, shoulders and back.

With the airport a few minutes away, many residents travel often. A massage booked for the evening you land is a gentle way to come home. For parents of young children, early evening, once the children are asleep, is the most requested time. Every session must finish by 10pm, so a 90-minute massage starts no later than 8.30pm.
